Dear Internet,
We have arrived a bit late to the party. Blogs are passe by now, which makes it possible for squares like us to join in.
As former individual bloggers, whose eventual fatigue led to our departure from the blogosphere, we have little reason to think this will succeed.
But, we forge onwards.
Linus and I have realized that our conversations of late seem substantial enough to warrant bloggerrific attention. Our e-mail inboxes overflow with each other’s ideas and responses, so we’ve decided to share them with the cacophony of the interwebs.
A brief introduction: Linus is a graduate student in the sciences at a major West Coast university. I (Stendhal) am a high school English teacher in Chicago, Illinois. We are long-time friends and intellectual sparring partners. Our conversations cover everything: news, politics, music, movies, books, sports (Go Cubs!), writing, the Internet, and anything else under the sun. As a result, this blog will cover it all.
We hope you enjoy reading, as much as we will surely enjoy writing.
See you soon,
Stendhal
It seems fair to add (and test?) a comment. We’ll try to keep this interesting.
